Hey guys. My name is Mike. I'm from Binghamton, NY and I found out about this site from another tuner site I frequent. Marshallpre recommended it to me.
I drive a fully built KA '93 240sx coupe and a very mildly modded (for now) '93 328is. I'm looking forward to meeting some people from here. I'll post a couple pics in a couple minutes.

Honestly, I'm more interested in AutoX although I haven't done it. But that's not to say that I don't enjoy kicking the ass out. ;) I got the S13 tuned and had some issues worked out last fall with the intent of doing some racing this year...but then I had serious car issues that forced me to park it for 5-6 weeks. :( I just got it back up and running about a week ago.

Currently I only have a ported ball bearing T28. At 16 lbs it's only putting down 278 rwhp. Needless to say I'm incredibly under utilizing my motor. I plan on going bigger now that I have all the boost kinks worked out of it. I'd like to have around 350 rwhp (although my motor is built for MUCH more. ;) )

Thanks a lot. It took a lot of work, but it was all worth it.

Yea but you can fully build a KA for what you can buy and swap in a stack sr for.
That s13 is very nice. But it needs more lower

+1,
building the KA is becoming a bit more common now. ive seen some 400hp KA's
good job of it tho.

I disagree. I would be have been quite a bit cheaper to swap in an SR. You can get a full motorset for roughly $2k. It cost me just under $4k for the long block. Then I obviously had to source all my own turbo parts, get a ROM tuned ecu, etc.
As far as ride height, I kind of agree. I need to get my fenders pulled so I can shove wider tires and wheels under there and drop it a little more. However I am lucky I can get in my driveway right now. lol

400whp is about the norm for a fully built KA. Mine was built with the ability to handle 500+whp. Like I said earlier, I'm WAY under-utilizing my build with such a small turbo. :( That'll change soon.
PS...there are currently a couple drag KA's from a couple tuning companies that put down over 700whp. Let me try to find the videos.
